We expand discussions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions throughout the entire shipping lifecycle—including production, transportation, and combustion of fuels—in line with international standards.

We are engaged in activities to promote the decarbonization of the steel industry, which is a major emitter of greenhouse gases. In particular, we call for the end of coal-based steelmaking (blast furnace) with high carbon intensity and advocate for changes in government policies and management strategies of steel companies to transition to green steel.
