Esther Haerim Heo is currently the Head of Industry at Solutions for our Climate. Within her role, she focuses on building and implementing strategies for industrial decarbonisation, including the steel and shipping sectors as well as tackling methane emissions in the energy sector. Previously she worked in the field of economic development, advocating for the needs and challenges of developing countries at the UN Secretariat in New York. Esther has a PhD in International Political Economy from Fudan University and a MSc from the London School of Economics. She is a Chevening Scholar (UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office) and a recipient of the Chinese Government Scholarship.
