Ayantu Teshome is a Program Officer on the Green Steel Transition team at Solutions for Our Climate (SFOC), supporting efforts to accelerate industrial decarbonization in Korea’s and the global steel sector. As a GKS scholar, she holds a B.S. and M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from KAIST, with a focus on sustainable environments and resilient urban systems. Her research and professional interests include climate-resilient development, environmental governance, sustainable urbanization, and renewable energy transitions. Prior to joining SFOC, she contributed to academic research on renewable energy transitions and urban decarbonization.
