Kate Kalinova leads international communications across SFOC’s programs, including press engagement and digital content development for SFOC's English language social media channels (LinkedIn & X). She first joined SFOC in 2022 as part of the steel program, where she focused on international partnerships and building green steel demand from consumers of the steel industry to accelerate decarbonization of the sector. Before joining SFOC, Kate worked as a Project Manager at the Australian Chamber of Commerce (AustCham) in Korea. Having spent over 7 years in Asia, Kate earned her Master’s degree from China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing and her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of New South Wales (UNSW). In addition to her work with SFOC, Kate serves as the Vice President at ANZA Korea. Her writing has been published in the East Asia Forum, Lowy Institute, and The Korea Times.
