Junbeom Park
Researcher
Junbeom Park has been researching and advocating for the Korean petrochemical industry decarbonisation since July, 2024. Before joining SFOC, he worked as a research engineer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering. the University of Melbourne, to research the recyclability of post-consumer plastics. He also collaborated with CSIRO and the School of Chemistry at the University of Melbourne to tackle South East Asia's Ocean Bound Plastic crisis via R&D of novel plastic upcycling technologies. Junbeom holds a B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Melbourne.
