Sang-a Lee is a researcher in SFOC's Methane Team, specializing to reduce methane emissions from organic waste and agriculture sectors. Sang-a develops policy recommendations to support both national and local governments in South Korea in identifying effective strategies for methane reduction, while also focusing on fostering regional collaboration across Asia. Previously, Sang-A conducted research on climate adaptation policies and water management at a national research institute. She has also gained valuable experience working with environmental NGOs, leading projects on greenhouse gas reduction plans and green job creation at the municipal level. Sang-a holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Environmental Engineering.
