Sang-a Lee is the Lead of the Food & Agriculture Team, driving efforts to accelerate the transition to low-emission food systems. The F&A Team works to advance sustainable food systems in Korea and across Asia by identifying gaps in existing agri-food policies and proposing practical policy solutions. The team's priorities include reducing methane emissions in agriculture and scaling alternative foods, alongside policy research for institutional change and and public communication to raise awareness. Previously, Sang-a Lee conducted climate change adaptation policy research for the central government at a national research institute. She later worked at a climate NGO, focusing on GHGs reduction strategies at the subnational level and green job creation.
