Tzyy Wei Siu
Wei is a researcher and policy strategist focused on Southeast Asian geopolitics, maritime security, and climate governance, with particular interest in translating limited capabilities into meaningful strategic influence. She has worked across research, policy engagement, and Track 1.5 initiatives, collaborating with governments, diplomatic missions, and regional think tanks. At SFOC, she is exploring the how climate, politics and economic interests shape one another. She hopes to bring her experience in research and policy communication to making complex power markets and grid issues more accessible, compelling, and difficult to ignore. To date, her writing can be found on Pacific Forum, Oxford Diplomatic Society and Fair Observer, among others. Outside work, she is usually training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, or hunting down good matcha spots in Seoul.
