Hyogyeong Joo
As part of the Ship Finance team, Hyogyeong Joo focuses on research to accelerate the decarbonization of the maritime sector. Drawing on her degree in Maritime Law and Policy and her background in the shipping and shipbuilding industries, she specifically targets South Korean government policies and public finance. Her work centers on phasing out financial support for traditional fossil fuels and transitional fuels such as LNG, and redirecting investments toward ZNZ (Zero and Near-Zero) fuel pathways.
