Kate Azarova is a researcher in SFOC’s Methane Team, specializing in methane emissions reduction and regulatory frameworks across Korea and Asia, with a focus on China and Japan. She conducts research and facilitates international collaboration to advance policies and strategies for methane mitigation. Kate holds a Ph.D. in International Business from Ewha Womans University, where her research focused on the transition from fossil fuels to green energy, renewable energy investments, and sustainability reporting. She has a diverse background in finance, technology, and project management, with experience in consulting, leading cross-functional teams, and driving global CSR and green finance initiatives.
