Bumcheul (BC) Park is currently responsible for SFOC's research and analysis on hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs). He brings expertise in environmental policy and project management from his previous position as a junior policy analyst at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris, France, where he carried out research on reducing marine plastic pollution with a focus on Southeast Asia, and monitoring international trade in plastic waste. He is particularly interested in promoting solutions to realize a Circular Economy, and a world free from waste. He received his Master's degree from Sciences Po Paris, and a Bachelor's degree from St. John's College in Santa Fe, NM, USA.
