Climate Legal Fellow
Tomoko Fukunaga is a Japanese lawyer affiliated with the Tokyo Daini Bar Association, and works in SFOC’s Steel Team. She has worked in corporate law, financial law, administrative law, and tax law at law firms, as a financial securities inspector at government agencies, as a tax judge at the National Tax Tribunal, and as an in-house lawyer at Yahoo! JAPAN. Just before joining SFOC, she worked for the “ClientEarth”, a London-based environmental organization. She holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Law School of the University of Tokyo.
