Sooyoun Han
Research Associate
Sooyoun Han is a researcher in the climate finance program, focusing on strategies to divest global funds from fossil fuels. She brings diverse environment and climate experience, having volunteered in the Sadhana Forest and reforestation projects in South India. Sooyoun is interested in the climate movement through the perspective of environmental and ecological justice. She first gained interest in environmental issues after reading the book titled, “What Should I Do? The Earth Is Sick,” as a child. Sooyoun received her master’s degree in big data and earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and international studies. Previously, she worked as a journalist, covering politics, law, and technology.
